Log Building Fundamentals Workshop (Beginner Level)
Wakefield, QC

In this hands-on workshop Daniel, our master builder with over 40 years of experience, and Marie and Solan, his two apprentices, will teach you techniques to prepare and carve out logs to craft beautiful structures.

In beautiful Wakefield, QC (half hour from Ottawa/Gatineau), you will learn how to use a scribing tool, chainsaw and chisel to craft log buildings like cabins or saunas using traditional techniques.
The workshop is 16 hours long and includes professional instruction and hands-on time to practice the techniques. It will be held in a large heated tent and outside.

Students need to bring their own lunches, chainsaw, protective glasses, ear covers, gloves and warm clothes. Other tools will be provided onsite.
Looking forward to teaching you the fundamentals of log building so you can start crafting your own projects!
