We live in a picturesque Canadian village surrounded by mountains, lakes, rivers and lush boreal forests. We have always been avid nature lovers who spend as much time outside soaking sun rays in any season, whether it's preparing garden beds in the spring, swimming in crystal clear waters in the summer, hiking in the fall, and cross country skiing or walking our dogs in knee deep snow in the heart of winter. We also like to celebrate all the abundance we are surrounded by gathering with our tribe and families and have feasts and play music together.
Saunas and cold plunges have been an integral and essential part of our life. Whenever we can, we take saunas with our friends and families to sweat and detoxify and keep our bodies fit and healthy. We also take cold plunges in all seasons. Nothing like a cold plunge in a frigid pond to make you feel alive and to build immunity to the elements!
We started making and offering saunas as a way to help people reconnect with nature and with each other. We feel saunas are a great way to slow down and let the mind become still so you can hear your heart and remember what matters; community and kinship, health and peace, and being grateful for this life.
